How Merchants Earn on SHAREDMARGIN
A complete and transparent overview of the merchant reward structure — from your first transaction to Apex rank override earnings.
Two merchant earning streams
Every transaction on your SHAREDMARGIN storefront generates two distinct earning opportunities — a base participation dividend from day one, and override credits from the merchants you sponsor into the network.
Base Participation Dividend
Earned on every transaction through your storefront from day one — regardless of whether you have sponsored any other merchants. Simply being active on the platform earns you this dividend.
Merchant Override Credits
Earned from the platform fees generated by merchants you sponsor into the SHAREDMARGIN network — across up to three levels of your merchant downline. Rates increase with your rank.
From every transaction to your wallet
SHAREDMARGIN collects the platform fee on every transaction and automatically splits it — 25% is retained by SHAREDMARGIN to fund operations, and 75% flows into the merchant reward pool that funds your earnings.
Example based on $100 gross transaction value. Setup fees are excluded from all reward calculations.
Four ranks — Merchant to Apex
Advance through four merchant ranks by sponsoring other merchants into the SHAREDMARGIN network. Each rank unlocks higher override earnings from your merchant downline.

Maintaining your merchant rank
Merchant ranks are evaluated monthly. Meeting your rank requirements maintains your rank — falling below requirements results in demotion of one rank at month end.
✅ Active Status
A merchant is considered active as long as they generate qualifying transaction volume in the current month — meeting or exceeding the published minimum transaction floor for their market.
📊 Maintain or Demote
If the required number of qualifying sponsored merchants drops below your rank threshold at month end, you demote one rank — not all the way to Merchant. Demotion is limited to one rank per month.
🏅 Fair Value Badge
Merchants who maintain SMV at or above the published Fair Value Standard earn the Fair Value Badge — giving their storefront preferred placement in the merchant directory and a visible trust signal to Affiliates.
📅 Monthly Statement
Every merchant receives a comprehensive monthly statement showing transaction volume by customer type — own Affiliates, visiting Affiliates, Patrons, and guests — alongside all reward earnings and wallet balance.
